Equipped with exceptional power and uncompromising driving dynamics, the Taycan Turbo GT achieves extraordinary performance thanks to its revolutionary electric propulsion system. The exclusive design combined with attention to detail give this car a timeless elegance.
The Turbo GT is equipped with a powertrain that uses an updated rear motor, combined with an upgraded pulse inverter with a maximum current of 900 Amperes, 300 more than the other models in the range. This translates into an increase in power and torque, but not only that. As regards the semiconductor material, silicon carbide was adopted, which allows higher switching frequencies to be achieved.
The advantages of carbon fiber
The New Porsche Taycan Turbo GT features a targeted use of carbon fiber to optimize the car's performance and efficiency. The use of this material helps to reduce the overall weight of the car, improving handling and agility without compromising safety.
Porsche has reduced the weight of the Taycan Turbo GT by 75 kg compared to the Taycan Turbo S. Carbon fiber is used for the trim on the pillars, the upper mirror shells and the door sill inserts. Instead of the usual rear seat system, there is a tailor-made, high-quality lightweight carbon cladding with a storage compartment behind the seat shells for the driver and front passenger.
This approach to using carbon fiber represents a significant step towards optimizing performance, confirming Porsche's commitment to integrating innovative materials for a comfortable yet high-performance driving experience.
