Autoclave manufacturing

Thanks to the autoclave production process, we can guarantee high-performance features of our structural and aesthetic components.

The standards which define the final quality of the products are:

  1. Uniformity of polymerization
  2. Polymerization time
  3. Pressure application
  4. Resin flow

The purpose of using an autoclave is to apply thermal cycling which can generate uniform distributions of temperature and pressure.

Autoclaves can be used to produce both single large-dimension and numerous small parts, both placed at the same time inside the autoclave. This is the reason we can cosider the autoclave production process very versatile.

The polymerization of composite material requires controlled temperature and pressure. Temperature eases resin curing, while pressure causes the release of excess liquid and gases trapped in the material's layers. Of course, each type of material has its own curing cycle.

Autoclave production cycle phases:

  1. Application of the mold release agent on the mold
  2. Fabric cutting
  3. Fabric layup on the mold
  4. Application of vacuum-sealing system
  5. Polymerization cycle
  6. Demolding
  7. Final finishing process
